Here are my Quar and their Battle Tractor. The Tractor looks a little plain at the moment, so I want to add some decals to it. I am also thinking about a Quar commander to stick on the top (looking out of the hatch).

Sneaky Gits
Here are my Sneaky Gits. The colour scheme turned out better than I expected. Except I am not sure I remeber how I actually painted it. I certainly hope I have written down the "painting recipe" somewhere.

Hobgoblin Wolf Riders
Here are four Hobgoblin Wolf Riders which are going to be part of my Chaos Dwarf army.
These minis were more a repaint/touchup job than a complete start-to-finish job. I had purchased them painted, but they style of painting was a little different to mine. I like mine to have darker shadows and sharper highlights. So I basically did just that. I applied several coats of ink washes (various colours) and a few more hightlights, using the dry-brush technique.

Painting Tips - Paint Comparison between Citadel - Vallejo - Reaper - P3 -
All the above mentioned brands of paints are excellent. You can use any of them paint awesome minis.
The problem arises when you need to change brands, for whatever reason, and you are not sure which one to choose. It took me a while to change from my set of Derivan Mini Paints (an Australian made paint range for miniatures), to my now Vallejo range. From my research there is not really an EXACT match between brands of paints, but instead there is very close comparison. So if you were half way through painting an army, then I would continue using your original paint range until that army is finished.
If you are ready to consider other brands of paints to what you are using now, then have a look at these links for some opinions on various paints.
